From time to time, Amazon is the victim of some classic pranks, often pertinent, usually just silly. Here are my favourites.. please let me know if you know of any others.

Michael Jackson - Number Ones

Martin Wank - Sex, Freud and Folly: The Truth About Psychotherapy

Update - I have been informed that the craze was started originally by Henry Raddick. His wit is exceptional.

I have also noticed that the two links above have been changed by Amazon, so that they do not feature the aforementioned pranks. If anyone has a saved page of either of these, please let me know and I will update my links.

Wikipedia - the free encyclopedia. Wikipedia is a multilingual project to create a complete and accurate free content encyclopedia. Anyone can add an article that is then subject to peer review and editing. It is one project bringing the concept of "open source" out of software development and into the mainstream.

BBC The iGeneration - Bridging the digital divide. Political wrangling is threatening to derail the first United Nations summit aimed at bridging the digital divide, and in the online community there is a great deal of nervousness about the takeover of the Internet by the UN. Will they bring the Internet to the world, or will they simply stifle free speech?
