New Malaga Deals hotel site launched!

Malaga Hotel Deals has the distinction of being the first fully CSS sites that I have redesigned. It proved to me why CSS is so valuable as a full redesign of the whole site took 2 days rather than 2 weeks. I'm pretty happy with the new design too. It is targeted at the lower price range of the hotel market, so as to complement www.malagaholidays.com.

New Malaga Holidays Web Site!

I have just launched a new site for my hotels and holidays in Malaga site.

It is fully CSS based, with minimal use of tables for layout. The spead of loading the site has dramatically improved, and as I have now got the site running from a database, it is very easy to update.

Neal Stephenson - The Baroque Cycle & Cryptonomicon

I've just started reading The Confusion which is the second book in Neal Stephenson's 'Baroque Cycle' which in turn is a kind of prequel to the amazing Cryptonomicon - an amazing blend of science fiction, philosophy, cryptography, money and power.

The Confusion picks up where Quicksilver left off, and throws you right back into a mix of piracy, espionage and international conspiracy. I've never read anything that transports you so vividly back in time and the buzz from the first book is right back again and I can't put it down. I won't try and write reviews of them, but the reviews on Amazon should convince you to give them a go if you need any encouragement.

I recommend reading Cryptonomicon before starting Quicksilver and The Confusion, and the last part to the Baroque Cycle - The System of the World is out in September. I can't wait.
