Glastonbury 2004 Tickets
What a nightmare!
First off. I was one of the lucky ones. I got 2 tickets within the first 5 minutes of them going on sale, so as I am online pretty much all day, I decided to help Charlie and Gaz get tickets. No luck. After a 24hr stint on the net, trying to get a second pair of tickets, they finally sold out. Bah!
Then, some more became available. No luck again.
Now, I can't use one of my tickets as my girlfriend can't go. No problem I thought, I'd read reports on the glastonbury website forums that people had manage to change the name of their second ticket without hassle. Wrong. It seems they did a U-turn on their policy and now will not change the details at all.
OK so i better refund one of the tickets so that someone else can have a go at getting it, or even better I can rebuy it straight away for one of my mates. No. They wont let me return just one of my tickets. Only both.
So now I have a ticket that I can't use, can't give to one of my mates to use, or can't return. Who's crazy idea was this??? It is supposed to stop people selling them on e-bay for mega bucks. Fair enough, but what about legitimate reasons for changing the details or their returns policy. I can't see how that would benefit anyone to be honest.
I can only hope they do another U-turn in policy and let me change the name in the end.
